Instructor: Aaron Fields
Aaron Fields is a firefighter with the Seattle Fire Department. He has 20 years of experience in the fire service, the last 14 with Seattle. He is the recipient of the 2017 Fire Engineering/International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI) George D. Post Instructor of the Year Award. Aaron is the founder of the Nozzle Forward program, which has been running for 11 years and has taught more than 30,000 firefighters and has implemented the system of hose management in more than 300 fire departments throughout North America. He has taught both veteran firefighters as well as recruit firefighters in all types of settings. He also teaches a program called Drilling for Function, which is a class instructional design and teaching methodologies for psycho-motor skills. He teaches hands-on training throughout North America and teaches at FDIC International, Andy Fredericks Training Days, Wichita HOT, and at various other seminars. He was a member of the UL/NIST Panel for Fire Streams. Aaron has numerous IFSAC certifications, but has technician level certifications in irony and puns.
